Composer Spotlight
The 2026 Saint Paul String Quartet Competition Composer Spotlight Rounds will feature exquisite string quartet compositions from the 21st Century. For the Senior Division finalist quartets we have selected Pisachi (Reveal) composed in 2013 by Jerod Impichchaachaaha' Tate as an homage to the American Indian Southwest. The Junior Division finalists will be required to perform composer Caroline Shaw's Blueprint (2016).
